About SOS Plumbing & Heating
SOS started with one van, one phone, and a simple bet: answer every call like it's your own mother's basement flooding. 300+ five-star-average reviews later, the bet's paying off.
Why "SOS"?
Because that's what a plumbing call is. Nobody browses for a plumber the way they browse for a couch. They call because water is on the floor, the shower is cold, or the boiler picked the worst week of January to retire. The name is a promise about how we answer: like it's urgent, because to you it is.
What we believe
- Answer the phone. A live person, 24 hours a day. Voicemail never fixed a leak.
- Price before work. Flat quotes you approve before we start. The crisis is not a coupon.
- Fix the cause. Cameras before digs, tests before treatments, honest repair-vs-replace math.
- Leave it cleaner. Boot covers, drop cloths, and a mopped floor on the way out.
Licensed, insured, certified
Every SOS technician is licensed and insured in the state of Rhode Island. Our heating specialists carry factory certifications from Navien, Viessmann, Utica and Burnham: training we renew every year, because the equipment doesn't stand still and neither do we. SOS is BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, which you can check on the BBB profile.
Where we work
Home base is 10 Alpine St in West Warwick, with vans covering the whole state, East Greenwich, Cranston, Warwick, Coventry, North Kingstown, Newport and everywhere between.
