"They were responsive even on a holiday. The only company out of several that actually responded. Showed up and did professional work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and good service."

3 a.m. burst pipe? That's what we're for.
24/7 Emergency Plumber in Rhode Island
Live answer around the clock, fast dispatch across Rhode Island, and honest phone triage that tells you what to shut off before we arrive.
First: breathe. Then: (401) 601-5040.
Water moves fast, a burst supply line can put hundreds of gallons into your home in an hour. When you call SOS, a real person answers, tells you exactly what to shut off, and dispatches the nearest stocked van. Nights, weekends, Thanksgiving dinner: the line is answered.
While we're rolling: damage control
- Burst pipe or major leak: close the main shutoff (usually where the water line enters the basement) and open a low faucet to drain pressure
- Water heater leaking: close the cold-water valve on top of the tank; kill power at the breaker or set the gas valve to "pilot"
- Sewage backup: stop using all water, keep people and pets away from affected areas
- No heat in winter: check the thermostat and emergency switch first; if the boiler's locked out, leave it off and call, repeated resets can mask a dangerous fault
- Smell gas?: leave the building first, then call your gas utility's emergency line and 911 before calling anyone else
What counts as an emergency?
If water is where it shouldn't be, sewage is coming up instead of going down, or the house has no heat in a Rhode Island winter. That's an emergency and it jumps our queue. Frozen pipes, failed sump pumps during a storm, and any leak you can't stop all qualify.
Emergency work gets the same flat, upfront pricing as everything else. Crisis is not a coupon for us to overcharge you.
How a rescue works
From your call to fixed, in four moves.
You call. A person answers.
No phone tree, no callback queue. Describe the problem and we dispatch the nearest tech, same-day for most calls, immediately for emergencies.
Upfront price before we open a wall.
The tech diagnoses on site, walks you through options, and quotes flat pricing before any work begins. You approve, or you don't. No surprises on the invoice.
Fixed right, left clean.
Stocked vans mean most repairs finish in one visit. We protect floors, wear boot covers, and leave the space cleaner than we found it.
Backed in writing.
Workmanship is guaranteed and every tech is licensed and insured in Rhode Island. If something isn't right, we come back. That's the whole policy.

"I had a saddle valve fail at 10pm and couldn't get the drip to stop at the leak. I got an instant and informative call back… Good advice, kind people, solid work and reasonable prices. This is a great company, highly recommended."

Good questions
Asked before every 24/7 emergency job.
What does an emergency call cost?
Emergency rates are $495 for the first hour and $300 an hour after that. During regular business hours it is lower: dispatch starts at $235 covering the trip and your first half hour, rising to $260 and $300 with distance, then $200 an hour. You hear the figure on the phone before anyone rolls, and the repair itself is quoted flat and approved by you before work starts. No 3 a.m. multipliers invented on the doorstep.
How fast can you get here?
Vans are positioned across the state, so most Rhode Island addresses are within a 30-minute roll. The dispatcher gives you a realistic ETA on the call, not a promise we can't keep.
Where is my main water shutoff?
Usually where the water line enters the house: basement front wall for most homes, a utility closet or crawlspace in slab houses. Landlords and condo dwellers may have a shutoff per unit. Find it before the emergency. It's the most valuable 5 minutes of prevention there is.
My pipes are frozen but haven't burst. What now?
Open the affected faucets slightly, warm the pipe gently (hair dryer, never a torch), and call us. Frozen copper often splits invisibly. We pressure-test after thawing so the burst doesn't find you next week.
The sump pump died and the storm is tonight. Emergency?
Yes, call now. A failed sump pump the night before heavy rain is exactly the call we'd rather take at 6 p.m. than the flooded-basement version at 2 a.m.
Should I call insurance or the plumber first?
Stop the water first, shutoff, then us. We document the failure with photos and a written cause-of-loss report as we work, which is exactly what your adjuster will ask for.
