This was the second time I had them come out to address the same issue. They installed a brand new water valve because it was assumed that was where the leak was. However, if they just looked down, they would have saw a pvc pipe had separated and needed a quick repair. Not happy that I had to pay for 2 house calls.

Had another opportunity to hire this company to repair another leaky toilet in my home. Adam, who has done work at my house a couple times already was tasked with finding the solution. After finding the cause of the leak and a brief discussion we decided that it was time to replace my 30+ year toilet. He did this on his own in an amazingly short time. Highly recommend this company and all of their crew. My thanks to Adam and owner, Jacob. This is the only plumbing company I will deal with until the end of my life... the good Lord willing.

Water leak alarm goes off at the water main in the basement, massive leak from the meter and the main knob won't turn all the way. Nightmare. These guys answered immediately, were there within an hour, and sorted out the whole situation within 30 minutes, and contacted my water utility company to get them involved to complete the fix. Fantastic!

Did a great job fixing my sink and replaced shutoff, will have them back to do more work in the future. Very polite and professional. Easy to talk with. Had Sos back on December 16th to replace my boiler, and hot water heater. They did a great job with the installation, had heat the same day. They stayed till I had heat.Came back the next day for couple touch ups and clean up. The pricing was greatNew boiler looks great have continuous hot water. And now have a lot more room in the basement.

I never write reviews, but after seeing all the great ones here, I felt inclined to share my own.I’ve managed multifamily properties for years, so I’m often in need of reliable plumbers for all sorts of jobs big and small —I’ve seen it all. These guys came highly recommended by a trusted source.That said, this experience truly baffled me. The total time spent “on the job in the bathroom was less than 15 minutes tracked - to replace a part leading to the shower head — yes, the shower head — and the bill came to almost $500. I understand there was travel time involved to pick up the part, and that as they said “plumbing is expensive” but even so, that was a wild price for a simple job.Was also told the part was going to be one price and on the invoice it was +60 then what was told.Listen, I’m sure they do phenomenal work and it’s clear they do with these reviews - I’ll never doubt someone’s craft. However, It changes for me personally when you know as a customer you’re clearly getting taken advantage of. So for me, I’ll continue to take my business elsewhere.**Edit**Editing to clarify that no fees were “clearly communicated” on my booking call. I booked anyways because again, it was a referral - I did however take it upon myself to review and familiarize myself with the prices on the website. But that’s not even the miss. The time was 15 minutes according to time in and out the ring doorbell but maybe you calculate differently for invoicing purposes not sure there. Others seem to be having the same problem from a customer service perspective so felt inclined to edit and share.

Great help, great service--especially in a house where nothing is as it should be!Long story short, we have a house built in 1959 on a slab, still on well water that's never been softened. "Oh, your house is so cool," people say. Try living with it when something goes wrong!We've used SOS twice: once, for an emergency where hot water was blowing out of a mineral-corroded pipe in the kitchen. Worth every penny. And again today (nonemergency) when we realized that the pipe leading from the well pump to the expansion tank was leaking. The guys are nice, professional, explain what's up and are so timely. They text, they respond, and they're AWESOME. They even gussied up some prior hack work while fixing the leak.We greatly appreciate you, SOS!

SOS Plumbing is fantastic. We called because our tub would not drain. We were given a timeframe of 8am to noon. They arrived at 9:30am and were done by 10:15am. They were very nice and professional. They worked neatly and even wiped out the tub after it drainedWe were very impressed and highly recommend SOS Plumbing! The price was very reasonable also.

SOS Plumbing wasted my time and failed to deliver on a "free estimate." I took time off work for a scheduled weekday morning appointment to remove an external gas line. Two technicians arrived; one was rude and rushed. The one technician initially claimed the line was "already disconnected." I was prepared to remove it myself and luckily addressed that it was strange to have different diameter gas line outside the house(1.25inch) and inside (0.75inch) to which the second technician said yes it is likely still connected we will get you a quote. They promised a quote, but never sent it. After two follow-up emails to customer service, I still have no quote. Total waste of a morning and time off work, zero service, and nearly resulted in me acting on dangerous, incorrect information. They were there less than 15 minutes total.

I had SOS Heating and Plumbing come out to take a look at my boiler. I’m a first time home owner and I had been getting soot in my basement and black smoke out of my chimney. SOS was the first company I called. They came out spent about 30 minutes looking at the boiler. After their inspection Jacob told me that the boiler was really bad, that it was going to be an all day project and that he would not be able to do it that day. He told me it was so bad that he needed to shut my boiler off and I had to sign a waiver stating I was liable for damages if I turned it back on. I’m sure that’s standard practice and fine but then he told me he didn’t have availability to get me in for the next 6 days and that it would cost $2,500. I was panicked I didn’t know what to do and I needed my heat and hot water (it’s December after all). I agreed to have SOS come back in 6 days to clean my boiler. About an hour after they left Jacob called me back and told me he had a cancelation and could get me in right after the weekend (4 days instead of 6), I agreed. I still wanted a second opinion. I called around and asked family and friends (my brother is a contractor so he knew a few people to ask about pricing and they all told me that was a lot for a boiler cleaning, even a really bad one. I had another technician come and take a look at it. They told me that it was bad, one of the worst ones they have ever seen, but still not a $2,500 project. That Technician charged me $350 plus the cost of a couple of parts that needed to be replaced, which totaled $1,100, and he also told me he would not leave me without heat and did it right then and there in just under 4 hours. I can only imagine what I would have paid for those parts on top of the $2,500 that Jacob wanted just for the cleaning. Today I called SOS to cancel the service I had scheduled with them as I no longer need it, and Jacob told me he would be billing me for when they came out to look at it. Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. This company’s communication and customer service are very poor and apparently they over price their services. 10/10 would not recommend, even just for a quote.**Edit**I was given a flat quote of $2,500. There was no ballpark estimate. Poor communication.Not one person once ever mentioned anything about a standard diagnostic bill just to have a technician look at my boiler for me. Poor communication.I was told there had been a cancelation, not that the schedule was being rearranged to accommodate my need. Poor communication.For a company that heavily values honesty and transparency they sure did stretch the truth quite a bit in their response to try and cover their tracks. I have no reason to lie about my experience to anyone reading this. My goal is to help others from having a poor experience like I had.

We have been using SOS plumbing for a while now they service all four of our commercial boilers recently they had to come out for emergency service. It’s great having a company that stocks all of their vehicles so they have the components needed on a late night service visit and they can get the systems going on a moments notice. We have used plenty of other companies and I think that we have found our one. Don’t call anyone else. Call these guys!! 😊💕💕

We recently hired this company to service our oil boiler after the system stopped working and we noticed smoke in the house. When we called, they initially said their only availability was after hours, but they tried to move things around—and the next thing I knew, they were here the same day.They worked on our system until around 7 PM and still charged us regular rates, which we really appreciated. Everything has been working great ever since.We’re looking forward to working with Jacob and Jacob—yes, that’s right, two technicians with the same name. Kinda funny and definitely memorable.Five-star service. I’d rate them higher if I could!
